PAGE, Ariz. (AP) - Coconino County Sheriff’s officials are investigating the death of a Page man who collapsed on a houseboat dock on Lake Powell near the Arizona-Utah border.

The National Park Service at Glen Canyon received a report from Antelope Point of an unresponsive person lying on the marina dock Monday afternoon.

A co-worker says he was putting down carpet with 54-year-old Michael Murphy when the victim stepped off the houseboat onto the dock and collapsed.

An employee of Antelope Point Marina who is an emergency medical technician administered a defibrillator and began CPR, but Murphy was later declared dead at the scene.

Sheriff’s officials said Tuesday that detectives don’t believe foul play was involved in the death.

The cause of death is expected to be determined by the county medical examiner’s office.
