NORTH BRANFORD, Conn. (AP) - Two men were killed in an early-morning head-on crash in Connecticut.
The Hartford Courant reports (https://cour.at/2a6isCv) the crash happened around 5:15 a.m. Monday on Route 80 in North Branford.
Police say 67-year-old John Fragola, of Killingworth, and 51-year-old Mario Simmons, of North Branford, were unconscious when emergency personnel arrived on the scene. The men were removed from their vehicles, one of which was on fire.
Police say both men died from their injuries. No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
