Amtrak Northeast Corridor service returning to normal

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Amtrak says service on its Northeast Corridor is returning to normal after delays caused by a disabled maintenance vehicle.

Amtrak spokesman Mike Tolbert says trains between Washington and New York were operating on a modified schedule on Thursday night and Friday morning, but are now on a normal schedule.

Tolbert says a maintenance vehicle was disabled about 25 miles south of Wilmington, Delaware, and had to be moved.

Keystone Service between Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and New York are operating as scheduled.
