A federal judge sentenced a woman to 32 months in prison for her role in seven inside job robberies of a Walgreens in Chinatown, where she worked as a manager.
London Teeter, 22, worked with middleman Gianni Robinson, 28, his uncle and fellow Walgreens store manager Michael Robinson, 35, and gunman Kamanye Williams, 26, to set up the robberies, which occurred between July 2023 and February 2024.
Teeter got the codes to get into the manager’s office and knew the timing of cash transfers for the business. The codes were then given to Williams, who robbed the store’s employees and the office before leaving the store through a rear exit.
Teeter also played along as a victim during the first robbery on July 18, 2023, and in the sixth robbery on Jan. 9, 2024, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia said Thursday. At least $28,983 was stolen through the scheme.
Police arrested Teeter on Feb. 22, 2024, less than two weeks after the seventh and final robbery of the Walgreens, and she pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to interfere with interstate commerce by robbery on Feb. 13, 2025.
Judge Jia Cobb sentenced Teeter to two years and eight months in prison, along with three years afterward.
U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro said in her office’s release Thursday that she believes the sentence to be insufficient, noting that prosecutors asked that Teeter get a sentence of eight years and four months.
“London Teeter was a key architect of a seven-month scheme that repeatedly turned her own workplace into a crime scene. The sentencing guidelines called for 87-to-108 months. This sentence, which is significantly lighter, does little to protect the citizens of the District,” Ms. Pirro said.
By comparison, the elder Robinson was sentenced to 12 years and three months in July 2025 for conspiracy to interfere with interstate commerce by robbery, using, carrying, possessing, and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence and aiding and abetting.
Williams was sentenced to 16 years and six months in August 2025 for conspiracy to interfere with interstate commerce by robbery, two counts of using, carrying, possessing, and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence and aiding and abetting.
The younger Robinson was sentenced in March to 10 years and six months in prison for conspiracy to interfere with interstate commerce by robbery and possessing a firearm related to a violent crime.
