According to Thomas Crampton, writing in the International Herald Tribune yesterday (oldtimers will know it as the “Paris Herald”), the open-source Firefox browser is strong in Europe, particularly Poland, the Basque region and other outposts, including France and Germany.

I like Firefox quite a bit, even if Apple’s Safari remains my primary browser. If you haven’t tried Firefox, and especially if you’re a Windows user concerned with “malware,” you might want to check it out.
