Last night at the Metrodome:

SEEN AND HEARD



The night took on a dubious feel for Georgetown even before the opening tip as the Metrodome’s PA announcer welcomed the team from “Georgia Tech.”

— Florida forward Joakim Noah on his tennis game. The 6-foot-11 sophomore is the son of tennis Hall of Famer Yannick Noah.

BY THE NUMBERS

13 Points scored in transition by Florida in the first half, matching the season high the Hoyas gave up in a victory at Oregon. Despite the defensive lapses, Georgetown led 30-28 at the break, largely because the Gators played even less defense.
