I have been a big fan of Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana since I was 5 years old and never thought I would be lucky enough to go to her concert.
But when I opened my first present on Christmas morning, I was excited to find tickets to the Best of Both Worlds Tour with Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers. I waited and waited for the special night to come, and on Jan. 7, it finally did!
My mom; my Aunt Kelly; my best friend, Claudia, and I arrived at the Verizon Center in Washington at about 6:30 p.m. and bought some really cool concert T-shirts and then went to our seats.
Our seats were horrible! They were about six rows from the ceiling and had a great view of behind the stage! Luckily, we had some connections, and a nice lady named Nancy was able to get us some great seats very close to the stage where we could almost touch the performers.
The Jonas Brothers opened for Miley, and they were fabulous. My favorite song they sang was “S.O.S.” I was so thrilled to hear them sing that I didn’t even ask my mom for soda or popcorn.
When Hannah Montana came onstage, everyone went crazy! She looked so pretty in her sparkly top and black pants. Things got really fun when she and her dancers changed into their bluejeans and sang Old Blue Jeans. It was awesome!
After about 45 minutes, she came out as Miley Cyrus and did a great job. She said she hadn’t felt well the night before, but she was still a great performer. The night ended with the Best of Both Worlds song and some really cool fireworks. I loved it! My best G.N.O. (Girls’ Night Out) ever!
I would give this performance four out of four stars and would recommend this concert to anyone. I just hope I am lucky enough to get tickets to her next concert.
