Most memorable house: My most memorable real estate transaction was the purchase of my first home. Although I had been an agent for two years, I still felt like a zombie at settlement and was very relieved when it was finally over and the sellers handed me my key.
Worst experience buying or selling a house: A buyer chose to use a friend as his loan officer, whose lack of experience caused a three-week delay in closing. The sellers, who were my relatives, had already begun the process of relocating to Atlanta. Everyone was on pins and needles until settlement day finally arrived. I learned a lot about patience and letting go during that transaction.
