Miller and Smith LLC is building 144 town-home-style condominiums at Madison Crescent in Gainesville, where plans call for a swimming pool, recreation center, tot lots and a park. The Marketplace at Madison Crescent already has a grocery store, and future plans include additional stores, restaurants, office space and a hotel.

Each home in this Prince William County community will include a brick front, accents, steps and stoop; low-maintenance vinyl siding; professional landscaping and a one-car garage.

Inside, both models feature two finished levels with three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths; ceramic tile floors in the foyer, half bath, kitchen and master bath; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; 42-inch maple cabinets, granite counters and recessed lighting in the kitchen; a luxury master bath; a high-tech wiring system; and gas heat.

The homes have 1,568 to 2,440 finished square feet with base prices from $229,990 to $272,990. Homeowner association fees are $244 per month.

The Beckford model, with 1,568 square feet, is priced from $229,990. This home features an entry foyer and a step up into an open living room and dining room with three windows.

At the back of this level are the kitchen, a closet, a powder room and a door to the garage.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet, a linen closet and a luxury bath with a soaking tub, a separate shower and a double-sink vanity.

At the back of this level are two more bedrooms, each with a double-door closet and a door to the balcony. Nearby are a full bath, a linen closet, a storage closet and a laundry closet for a washer and dryer.
