CHICAGO (AP) - Agriculture futures were higher in midday trading Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery jumped 10.75 cents to $5.61 a bushel and May corn added 5.25 cents to $4.0175 a bushel, while May leaped 21.5 cents to $9.735 a bushel. May oats rose 2 cents to $2.02 a bushel.
Beef futures rose, while pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle gained 0.55 cent to 85.75 cents a pound, while May feeder cattle added 0.38 cent to 95.75 cents a pound. April lean hogs slid 0.25 cent to 61.50 cents a pound, and May pork bellies dropped 1.50 cents to 90 cents a pound.
