WASHINGTON (AP) — D.C. police say an off-duty city firefighter who was shot several times has driven himself to a hospital.
Police say the firefighter was shot in his car about 12:30 a.m. Thursday, and managed to drive himself to the Washington Hospital Center in northwest Washington. The man was not identified and it is not known where the shooting took place.
Police say the man was in critical condition.
