New in Virginia: Raspberry Falls

Van Metre Homes is building 201 single-family homes on half-acre to 1-acre homesites at Raspberry Falls in Leesburg, a resort-style community with a golf course, swimming pool, clubhouse and tennis courts.

Each home in this Loudoun County community will include a brick or stone-and-siding front, 6 1/2-inch beaded vinyl siding, a sodded yard, an asphalt drive and a three-car garage.

Inside, all four models feature four bedrooms; 4 1/2 baths; oak stairs; hardwood flooring in the foyer, powder room and hall; 9-foot ceilings on all three levels; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace; 42-inch flat-panel birch cabinets, granite counters and recessed lighting in the center-island kitchen; ceramic tile flooring in the kitchen and baths; a luxury master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower; a high-tech wiring system; a rough-in for a lower-level bath; and dual-zone heating and air conditioning.

The homes have 3,630 to 4,538 finished square feet, with base prices from $587,490 to $637,490. Homeowner association fees are $192 per month.

The Benton model, with 4,538 square feet, is priced from $637,490. This home features a front porch leading into a generously sized foyer with a central staircase. A second staircase is at the back of this model.

The main level has formal living and dining rooms, a study, a family room with a fireplace, and an open kitchen and breakfast room with a walk-in pantry. This level also has a family foyer, a powder room and a butler’s pantry.

Upstairs, the master suite has a separate sitting room, two walk-in closets and a luxury bath. This level has three more bedrooms, each with a private, full bath. A sitting nook and a laundry room complete this level.

Options include finished lower levels, morning rooms, bay windows, extra fireplaces and columns.
