NEW YORK (AP) - Fans of “The Book of Mormon,” rejoice: You’ll soon be able to sing along with the musical at home.
Ghostlight Records said Tuesday it will release the original Broadway cast album digitally on May 17 and on CD June 7.
The Broadway musical is one of the season’s hot tickets, having wowed critics and audiences alike. It was written by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the creators of “South Park,” and Robert Lopez, co-creator of the Tony Award-winning musical “Avenue Q.”
The album includes 16 songs, a 76-page booklet featuring photos of the show, full lyrics and liner notes written by Frank Rich.
