Redskins running back Roy Helu (29) takes off on a 33-yard run after catching a Rex Grossman pass in the second quarter to set up a touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals at FedEx Field in Landover, Md., on Sunday, September 18, 2011. (T.J. Kirkpatrick/The Washington Times)“I tried to tell myself all week that this was just another game,” Hightower said. “But it wasn’t. It meant a lot to me, was very special to me. That’s the team that brought me in, and I had a lot of memories with that team. I wanted this one really bad, and I told the guys that.”
He got his revenge and the Redskins’ got their ‘W,’ while unveiling a new, exciting weapon along the way.
“At the end of the day, it’s great to have the two-headed monster,” Young said.
