Prince George's County police are investigating the deaths of two men in Fort Washington as a murder-suicide.
Officers responded to the 10900 block of Indian Head Highway around 10:40 p.m. Friday to check on the welfare of a person. They found John Jay Bromwich, 47, of the same block, and Graham Edmondson Hayes II, 45, of the 7200 block of Purple Avens Avenue, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police said that the two men worked together and they believe Mr. Bromwich shot Mr. Hayes and then turned the gun on himself. A police spokesman could not say Monday where the men worked and investigators were still trying to determine the motive for the slaying.
