D.C. United midfielder Andy Najar got the ball rolling on the goal that helped Honduras beat Spain 1-0 in men's soccer, eliminating a team many had considered the pre-tournament favorite from medal contention. In the seventh minute, Najar sent a ball down the left side to Roger Espinoza. Jerry Bengtson headed his cross home and Honduras made the goal stand up the rest of the way.
