A teenager was stabbed Sunday during an argument on a Metrobus, Metro officials said.
A Metro spokeswoman said that at about 2:10 p.m., two women began arguing on an A8 bus destined for the Anacostia Metrorail station.
During the argument, one of the women pulled out a knife and stabbed the other woman multiple times before fleeing the bus, which was in the area of 6th and Chesapeake streets Southeast.
The victim was transported to the hospital, but Metro did not have further information on her status. Both the victim and suspect were estimated to be about 18 years old.
The bus was equipped with a camera and the recording will be given to investigators, the spokeswoman said.
