“It’s amazing,” Donovan said. “Two brothers from Colombia playing together.”

Notes: Bench player Chad Tracy will have surgery Thursday to repair a torn right adductor muscle and is expected to miss at least six to eight weeks. Tracy, the most productive pinch hitter in the majors, injured himself rounding first on the game-winning double Saturday in Atlanta. He had double sports hernia surgery in the offseason. The Nationals will have a hard time replacing his production as a pinch hitter from within, and manager Davey Johnson intimated the team would look elsewhere if necessary. “Let me tell you, “Johnson said. “Everybody is looking for a Chad Tracy. We’re no different.”

The Nationals are hopeful that Michael Morse (lat) and Mark DeRosa (oblique) will be activated on the upcoming homestand. Morse began a rehab assignment with Single-A Potomac on Tuesday night.
