Virginia, Boise State to meet in 2015, 2017 seasons

BOISE, Idaho — Boise State and the University of Virginia have announced a home-and-home football series starting in 2015.

The Broncos will travel to Charlottesville, Va., for a game on Sept. 26, 2015, marking just the third time BSU will play a team from the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Cavaliers are scheduled to make the return trip to Boise on Sept. 23, 2017.

Boise State athletic director Mark Coyle said Monday he thinks BSU fans will be excited about hosting an ACC school. He says he continues to work to schedule home-and-home games against BCS opponents.

The schools will exchange guarantees of $200,000.
