Those who support the development of the Jewish state of Israel are guilty of a crime against humanity, suggested Turkey's prime minister in an address at a United Nations assembly in Vienna, Austria.
"Just like Zionism, anti-Semitism and facism, it becomes unavoidable that Islamaphobia must be regarded as a crime against humanity," said Prime Minister c, according to a report in Israel National News.
He made the remarks during the opening session of the fifth U.N. Alliance of Civilizations. The comments are somewhat puzzling. Just a few days ago he met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and agreed on the need for reconciliation between Turkey and Israel, according to Israel National News.
But in a report a week ago from The Jordan Times, he had this to say about Israel: "We will not remain silent in the face of the cruel dictator, the mute devil, who mercilessly carried out massacres against his own people, but who has remained silent and unresponsive toward those who have occupied his own territories for decades."
