After coming clean in a one-on-one interview with Oprah Winfrey, Lance Armstong's website still touts his seven Tour de France titles, each of which have been revoked due to doping.
"If scripted by Hollywood, the story would be dismissed as trite melodrama: A deadly disease strikes a promising athlete. Despite desperately thin odds, he manages not only to beat the affliction but also to return to the sport and win its top prize, not once but a record seven times," the website reads. "Unbelievable, except it's true."
An ongoing investigation among Union Cycliste Internationale, cycling's governing body, found Mr. Armstrong guilty and revoked all seven of his titles last October. He was also kicked off the board of his cancer foundation Livestrong. He finally admitted to Oprah publicly last week to using drugs in order to help him reach optimal performance.
His misleading biography was first noticed by ESPN's Rachel Nichols Tuesday, who tweeted, "Just how much nerve does Lance Armstrong have?"
Fox reports that messages seeking comment from Mr. Armstrong's representatives were not immediately returned Tuesday.
