MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Marc Gasol had 24 points and 12 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the season and all five Memphis Grizzlies starters reached double figures in scoring in a 112-95 victory over the Washington Wizards on Monday night.
Matt Barnes scored 20 points and Mike Conley had 18 points and 11 assists for the Grizzlies, who surrendered the lead to the Wizards briefly in the first quarter but never were in danger of trailing once halftime was over.
The Wizards were led by Gary Neal, who scored a season-high 24 points off the bench, and Ramon Sessions and Jared Dudley each added 14 points. John Wall, who finished with six points on 2-for-11 shooting, had nine assists.
Washington has lost three of its last four games and was looking to win consecutive games for the first time since Nov. 21, when a defeat of the Detroit Pistons marked a three-game winning streak.
