BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a man who was found dead after crashing his ATV near a fishing access site on the Yellowstone River.
Cliff Mahoney, Yellowstone County’s deputy coroner, identified the man Friday as 71-year-old John Grinsteiner, of Custer. Investigators have not determined if Grinsteiner died as the result of the crash or if he suffered a medical problem that caused the crash.
The Billings Gazette reports (https://goo.gl/px7uWs ) an autopsy is planned in Missoula over the weekend.
The body was found near the Captain Clark Fishing Access near Waco, northeast of Pompeys Pillar National Monument. Grinsteiner had left to spray weeds but never returned home.
