ATHENS, Greece (AP) - Olympiakos won the Greek Cup for a record 27th time by beating Xanthi 3-1 in the final in Athens’ Olympic Stadium Saturday.

It was also a record 17th double for Olympiakos, which won its 42nd league title.

Franco Jara, Alejandro Dominguez and Costas Fortounis scored for Olympiakos, while Pantelis Kapetanos netted Xanthi’s consolation goal.

A defensive mistake in first-half injury time gave Olympiakos the lead when Jara intercepted a backward pass inside the area.

In the 63rd minute, Dominguez began a run inside his own half, burst through two defenders and blasted a shot into Xanthi goal’s left corner.

Fortounis made it 3-0 in the 80th with a free kick from 25 meters (yards) and Kapetanos pulled one back for Xanthi in the 87th from close range.
