HONOLULU (AP) - A crew was forced to evacuate a French cargo ship carrying cables after it caught fire in Honolulu Harbor.

KHON-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1JQmJHo) that firefighters are investigating the source of the blaze that started Monday night.

They were called to the vessel around 7:45 that evening and were able to extinguish the flames by 10.



Officials believe the fire started in the generator room.
