ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A man is behind bars after allegedly stabbing an employee at an Albuquerque Dunkin’ Donuts shop.
The Albuquerque Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1OmIb8O) the incident happened Friday around 5:15 a.m. when 35-year-old Jason Sarracino entered the shop and demanded “two donuts and the money from the register.”
According to a criminal complaint, employee Derek Beliveau asked Sarracino to repeat his order.
Police say Sarracino then claimed he had a gun.
The two fought over the register till until the suspect attacked Beliveau with pepper spray.
The two fought again and Sarracino allegedly stabbed Beliveau in the ribs.
The complaint says another employee hit Sarracino with a bat and a customer detained him.
Beliveau took himself to a hospital.
Sarracino has been booked on robbery with a deadly weapon and other charges.
