BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Thirty-one people are ready to become U.S. citizens at the site where Theodore Roosevelt became president.

The naturalization ceremony scheduled in Buffalo on Tuesday is one of about 180 ceremonies taking place across the country around the Presidents Day holiday.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services says the ceremony at the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site will involve people from 17 countries.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Leslie Foschio will preside.
