Scottsdale police: Dead body found in canal on south side

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Scottsdale police say a person’s dead body has been found in a canal on the city’s south side.

Police say the body was found Wednesday morning floating face-down in a canal along a bike path near East Roosevelt Street and North 77th Street.

No additional information is immediately available, including the person’s gender, cause of death and how the body got in the canal.
