Kirk Cousins and the Redskins blew open a tight game in the fourth quarter, dropping big play after big play on an outmanned Packers’ defense to seal a 42-24 win on a blustery FedEx Field Sunday.
With 100-yard games by Pierre Garcon (6-116) and Jamison Crowder (3-102) along with 137 yards and three touchdowns on the ground from rookie back Robert Kelley, the Redskins rolled up 515 yards in their most productive game of the season.
The wins keeps the 6-3-1 Redskins in the hunt for a playoff spot and sets up a Thanksgiving Day showdown with division leading Dallas.
