ANALYSIS/OPINION:

If Republican Donald Trump wins the presidency on Nov. 8, it seems as though many in Hollywood will be trading in their Beverly Hills residencies for those in Canada — or elsewhere out of the country.

Here’s a list of 10 celebrities who have vowed to leave the United States if this election cycle doesn’t go their way. (Caveat: Alec Baldwin promised he’d leave the U.S. if George W. Bush won the 2000 election, and, alas, he’s still here, playing Donald Trump on “Saturday Night Live” — so don’t get your hopes too far up).

1. Bryan Cranston.

The “Breaking Bad” actor has said he’s going to break to Canada if Hillary Clinton loses the White House. Mr. Cranston said in a podcast this week that he “would definitely move” to Vancouver if Mr. Trump wins.

“It wouldn’t be a vacation,” the Oscar nominee said in the podcast posted Sunday. “I’d be an expatriate. Absolutely. I would definitely move. It’s not real to me that that would happen. I hope to God it won’t.”

2. Lena Dunham.

The Girls writer and actress — and prominent Clinton — also said she’d move to Vancouver if Mr. Trump wins. (Good luck, Vancouver!)

“I know a lot of people have been threatening to do this, but I really will [move to Canada],” Ms. Dunham told Andy Cohen at the Matrix Awards in April, according to the Hollywood Reporter. “I know a lovely place in Vancouver, and I can get my work done from there.”

3. Miley Cyrus.

The singer won’t be partying in the USA if Mr. Trump wins. She took to her Instagram account to write: “I am moving if this is my president! I don’t say things I don’t mean!”

Raunchy, maybe.

4. Amy Schumer

The comedian — who recently had people walk out of her stand-up routine after she bashed Mr. Trump — said she’d move to Spain if he were elected.

“It’s beyond my comprehension if Trump won. It’s just too crazy,” she told BBC’s “Newsnight.”

5. Jon Stewart.

The former host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” recently came out of retirement to bash Mr. Trump. Where would he go if Mr. Trump were to win? Another planet.

“I would consider getting in a rocket and going to another planet, because clearly this planet’s gone bonkers,” People Magazine reported.

6. Barbra Streisand.

The singer said she’d move to either Australia or Canada if Mr. Trump wins.

“I’m either coming to your country [Australia], if you’ll let me in, or Canada,” Ms. Streisand told an Australian news outlet.

7. Cher.

It looks like the “Believe” singer will be floating out in the cosmos with Mr. Stewart if Mr. Trump is elected.

Last year, the 69-year-old singer tweeted: “IF HE WERE TO BE ELECTED, I’M MOVING TO JUPITER.”

8. Raven-Symone and Whoopi Goldberg.

Ms. Symone, “The View” co-host and former “Cosby” star, said she’d be packing up and leaving with her family if Mr. Trump were to win.

“If any Republican gets nominated,” Ms. Symone said she’d move to Canada with her family. She added: “I literally bought my ticket, I swear.”

That would put “The View” in a bit of a bind, as co-host Whoopi Goldberg promised the same thing, saying she doesn’t think Mr. Trump represents the U.S.

“I don’t think that’s America. I don’t want it to be America. Maybe it’s time for me to move, you know,” she said.

9. Samuel Jackson.

Mr. Jackson told Jimmy Kimmel: “If that mother–-er becomes president, I’m moving my black ass to South Africa.”

10. George Lopez.

Shortly after Mr. Trump announced he would run for president in June, the comedian told TMZ there are “enough racists in this country for [Trump] to get elected, and added: “If he wins, he won’t have to worry about immigration. We’ll all go back.”
