COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) - Police at the University of Maryland, College Park say a third student has reported being hit by pellets from a BB gun.

Campus police spokeswoman Rosanne Hoaas says they have now heard from three students who reported being struck Sunday night, but no one was injured.

Police say a male student reported that he was hit by a pellet between the Kim Engineering and Biomolecular Science buildings, while another said he was struck while walking between Stadium Drive Garage and Ellicott Hall. A female student also reported being hit while walking near the engineering building.



Police are investigating the incident.
