China doesn’t like America becoming great again. On Tuesday, the Chinese Foreign Ministry urged White House press secretary Sean Spicer to “speak and act cautiously” regarding what China believes is its sovereign territory in the South China Sea, where they have been militarizing man-made islands in the middle of international shipping lanes.

At a press conference in Beijing on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Hua Chunying, urged Washington to tread carefully “to avoid harming the peace and stability of the South China Sea,” reports the Guardian.

Several newly appointed representatives of the Trump administration, including the possible secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, have said openly and clearly that the United States will confront China over its actions in the area. President Trump has also said he will re-arm, rebuild and modernized the American military.
