HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) - Matt Daniel has resigned after five seasons as women’s basketball coach at Marshall.
The university announced Daniel’s resignation Sunday.
Marshall finished the season with a 13-17 record. The Thundering Herd lost to Charlotte in the first round of the Conference USA tournament.
Daniel compiled a 71-85 record at Marshall, including an appearance in the women’s National Invitation Tournament in 2016 when the Thundering Herd went 21-12.
