The New Legacy Partners firm is building 49 condominium homes at Cedar Crossing at Takoma Metro in Takoma Park.

The four-story building, part of the Takoma Park Historic District neighborhood, will include a landscaped courtyard, a controlled-access two-level elevator lobby, private garage parking, individual storage spaces and bicycle storage in the garage.

Most homes include a balcony or patio and two levels of living space.

Inside, both models feature two bedrooms; 21/2 baths; a den; ceramic-tile flooring in the foyer, kitchen and all baths; 9-foot ceilings; large windows with insulated glass for energy efficiency; a full-size stacked washer and dryer; individually controlled heat and air conditioning; maple cabinets, granite counters and a peninsula in the kitchen; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; and a high-tech wiring package.

The homes have about 1,200 to 1,350 finished square feet, with base prices from the low $300,000s.

The Takoma model, with 1,350 square feet, is priced from the low $300,000s. This home features a town-house-style floor plan with a den opening into the living and dining room, a built-in Internet-ready desk, a kitchen, a powder room and a large den with a sliding glass door to a balcony.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a bath with a tub and a separate shower. The second bedroom suite has a private full bath with a large-scale shower and a walk-in closet. This level also has a full-size stacked washer and dryer.
