Patriot Homes is building 250 Colonial-style single-family homes at Hunters Brooke in La Plata, where residents can enjoy a swimming pool, tennis court and ball fields.

Each home in this Charles County community will include vinyl siding in a choice of colors, a seeded or sodded lawn, an exterior house wrap for energy efficiency, a lamp post and a two-car garage. Brick and stone fronts and three-car garages are optional.

Inside, all 16 models feature four bedrooms, 21/2 baths, oak hardwood flooring in the foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, a wood-burning fireplace, 42-inch oak cabinets in the center-island kitchen, a volume ceiling in the master bedroom, a master bath with a tub and separate shower, ceramic-tile tub and shower surrounds, a plumbing rough-in on the lower level, and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have 2,021 to 3,254 finished square feet, with base prices from $309,900 to $373,900.

The Abraham Clark III model, with 3,110 square feet, is priced from $366,900. This home features a two-story foyer with an angled staircase; a living room and dining room with optional columns; an open kitchen with a walk-in pantry and a large breakfast area; a family room; a study; a mudroom; and a powder room.

Upstairs, the master suite has a cathedral ceiling; a step-down sitting room with a cathedral ceiling; two walk-in closets; and a bath with a corner tub, a separate shower and two separate sinks. Three more bedrooms, a laundry room and another full bath complete this level.
