Correction

Due to an editing error, a story in Thursday’s editions incorrectly characterized the timing of a new U.S. Border Patrol initiative. “Operation Be Alert,” which asks Arizona residents to report alien and drug smugglers, was not scheduled to coincide with the “Minuteman Project” protest.
