Wednesday: George Wunderlich, executive director of the National Museum of Civil War Medicine, presents a lecture on Civil War medicine and the evolution of medical care during the past 150 years an interactive program for all ages. Today and tomorrow: Petersburg National Battlefield presents a living-history program featuring actors who portray Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant and Julia Grant, beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing throughout both days at the Grant Headquarters Unit at City Point (present-day Hopewell). Wednesday: The Harpers Ferry Civil War Round Table will hear Steve French speak on “The Battle of Martinsburg, June 14, 1863” at 8 p.m. in the Quality Hotel Conference Center (formerly the Cliffside), located on the east side of Route 340, 5 miles west of the traffic light at the entrance to Harpers Ferry National Park. The meeting is free and open to the public.
