ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Sophomore guard Jonathan Wills will transfer from New Mexico at the end of the spring semester.

Coach Steve Alford said Monday that Wills wants to be closer to home and his family. It wasn’t immediately known where Wills plans to transfer.

Wills, a 6-foot-6 wingman from Carson, Calif., played in 66 games with 19 starts in his two seasons with the Lobos. He averaged 2.2 points and 10.5 minutes while making two starts during the 2008-09 season.
