VIENNA (AP) - Diplomats and U.S. officials say Washington is planning talks with five other world powers on how to curb Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

The ultimate goal of the six remains getting Iran to end its nuclear enrichment program. But one diplomat said Tuesday that _ as part of a strategy review _ Washington was looking at whether it could tolerate small-scale Iranian enrichment activities.

That would be a major departure from the past U.S. position.

All demanded anonymity because their information was confidential.
