BOSTON (AP) - The home arena of the NHL’s Boston Bruins and NBA’s Boston Celtics is getting a shorter name.

Delaware North, owner and operator of the facility now known as the TD Banknorth Garden, said in a statement Wednesday that the arena will be known as the TD Garden starting in July.

The naming deal runs through 2025. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 19,600-seat arena that opened in 1995 to replace the old Boston Garden was originally known as the FleetCenter, It was renamed the TD Banknorth Garden in 2005.
