COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina junior Dominique Archie says he’ll declare for the NBA draft but expects to return for his senior season.

Archie said Wednesday he won’t hire an agent, meaning he can pull out by the June 15 deadline and go back to school.

Archie says South Carolina coach Darrin Horn supported him going through the process of pre-draft workouts to gain feedback on his future as a pro.

Archie averaged 10.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game his junior season.

Archie joins teammate Devan Downey in entering the draft. Downey has also said he won’t hire an agent, leaving open the chance of returning to school.
