NEW YORK — “Dreamgirls” will play the Apollo — then hit the road.

Producer John Breglio says a national tour of the hit musical will premiere at Harlem’s legendary theater later this year.

The show will play a four-week, limited engagement, from Nov. 7 to Dec. 5, before beginning its journey.

No casting has been announced for the revival, which will be directed and choreographed by Bobby Longbottom.

The original muical opened on Broadway in 1981 and ran for more than 1,500 performances. There also was the 2006 movie in which 2004 “American Idol” finalist Jennifer Hudson won a supporting-actress Oscar.
