WASHINGTON (AP) - Nationals manager Manny Acta was ejected following the bottom of the third inning of Friday night’s game against the Florida Marlins.

Acta was still in the dugout when he was tossed by home plate umpire Tim Timmons after Timmons called Washington’s Elijah Dukes out on a called third strike for the final out. Acta emerged from the dugout and had an animated discussion with Timmons before departing.

It was the second career ejection for Acta.
