Small plane crashes into home near Ft. Lauderdale

OAKLAND PARK, FLA. (AP) - A small plane has crashed into a house outside Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

WSVN-TV shows the house with a gaping hole, smoke still covering the home. Firefighters were working Friday to extinguish the flames. The home is near Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.

Messages were left for aviation officials and law enforcement.
