DETROIT (AP) - Police in Detroit say seven people have been wounded in a shooting outside a party.

None of the injuries is described as life-threatening.

Detroit police Sgt. Eren Stephens Bell said shots were fired late Friday on the city’s northwest side after a verbal dispute involving a group of people at the party.

Stephens Bell says shots were fired at the group after they left the party.

She said six victims ranged in age from 16 to 18, and the seventh was 24. All were male and each was wounded in a foot or ankle.

The officer said four people were held after being stopped nearby with two handguns but it wasn’t clear if they were linked to the shooting.
