VILLANOVA, PA. (AP) - Villanova guard Scottie Reynolds has declared for the NBA draft, but will not hire an agent and could return to the Wildcats for his senior season.

Reynolds has scored 1,620 points in three seasons at Villanova and led the Wildcats’ run this year to the Final Four. Reynolds could withdraw from the draft by June 15 and still retain his eligibility if he does not hire an agent.

Villanova coach Jay Wright says Tuesday that now is the right time for Reynolds to experience NBA workouts and see where he fits in the draft process.

Reynolds hit the winning layup against Pittsburgh that sent the Wildcats to their first Final Four in 24 years. Villanova was eliminated by North Carolina in the national semifinal.
