Beazer Homes Corp. is building 176 town homes on 2,200-square-foot homesites at Ballenger Creek in Frederick, a community with a clubhouse, tennis courts and tot lots near golf courses, shopping areas and downtown Frederick.

Each home in this Frederick County community will include 4-inch vinyl siding and professional landscaping. Some homes have a storage shed, privacy fence and a one-car garage.

Inside, both models feature three levels with three or four bedrooms and two full baths; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; 42-inch oak cabinets and a pantry in the kitchen; cultured marble countertops and dual sinks in the master bath; and environmentally friendly features such as a programmable thermostat, low-flow shower heads, low-VOC paint and gas heat.

The homes have about 1,514 to 1,646 finished square feet, with base prices from $219,990 to $224,990. Homeowner association fees are $43 per month for common area maintenance and $50 per year for recreational amenities.

The Morgan model has 1,514 square feet and is priced from $224,990. This home features a lower-level entrance into a foyer and has a one-car garage and an unfinished basement with a laundry room.

The main level has an open living and dining room with a fireplace. At the back of this level are an open breakfast area and kitchen with an optional center island.

Upstairs, the master suite has an optional tray ceiling and a walk-in closet and a private bath with a double-sink vanity and an optional vaulted ceiling. Two more bedrooms, each with an optional vaulted ceiling, and a second full bath complete this level.
