6,228 people are homeless.

10 percent are military veterans.

English is not the first language for 437 homeless people.

321 people are sleeping on the streets.

The average age of an unmarried homeless person is 49. The average age among adults in homeless families is 32.

1,923 people in the Continuum of Care program are chronically homeless.

There are 1,645 cases of chronic substance abuse and 1,042 cases of severe mental illness.

8 percent have a dual diagnosis - severe mental illness occurring with chronic substance abuse.

137 homeless people report having HIV/AIDS.

Nearly one in five homeless people report a chronic health problem.

787 people report being victims of domestic violence.
