PLANT CITY, FLA. (AP) - Florida police say a 2-month old girl was taken from her mother at a Tampa-area health clinic.

Authorities issued an Amber Alert for Sandra Cruz-Francisco, a Hispanic girl with dark brown hair and eyes who has been missing since Monday. She was all dressed in pink when she was taken.

Police say they are looking for a woman named Janet who they believe took the baby from the clinic in Plant City. The woman is about 30 years old and could be traveling to Miami in a small blue Chrysler.

Police said Sandra’s mother handed her over to the other woman after the two had a conversation, but then the woman fled with the child. Police don’t believe the two women knew each other. The baby was at the clinic for a checkup.
