DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (AP) - Big City Man has won the $2 million Golden Shaheen at Nad al Sheba racetrack, holding off favorite Indian Blessing by 1 1/4 lengths.

Indian Blessing, a 4-year-old filly trained by Bob Baffert and ridden by Edgar Prado, got off to a slow start but was unable to overtake Big City Man.

Big City Man won for the sixth time in nine starts. The 4-year-old colt is owned by Saudi Prince Sultan Mohd Saud Al Kabeer.

Indian Blessing came into the race with nine victories and three runner-up finishes in her first 12 starts.

Diabolical was third in the 12-horse field.

The six-furlong Golden Shaheen was one of six races on the $21 million Dubai World Cup program.
